Upon arrival, each piece is physically inspected and authenticated in person by our trained and experienced staff, who specialize in identifying genuine vintage and designer garments.

We stand behind the authenticity of every item we sell — purchase with confidence knowing we are committed to transparency, integrity, and a deep respect for the culture of fashion.

Our pricing reflects the full journey each piece takes — from global sourcing to your hands. Every item is hand-picked, authenticity checked, professionally cleaned or dry cleaned, and often shipped from overseas.

As a registered New Zealand business, our prices include 15% GST (Goods and Services Tax) and we’re subject to a 28% company tax, along with additional costs such as import duties, shipping, and operating expenses.

Despite all this, we strive to keep our pricing fair and competitive — especially considering the quality, rarity, and authenticity of our pieces. When you shop with VV Department, you’re supporting a small business that values culture, craftsmanship, and individuality over hype and mass production.

We aim to process, pack, and ship your order within 1–2 working days. Once dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking number to follow its journey to you.

Please note that certain items may be on backorder — if this applies to your purchase, we’ll get in touch with you promptly to provide an update and expected timeframe.

Yes, we do ship overseas. International shipping rates are automatically calculated at checkout based on your location.

Please allow extra time for delivery, as customs processing in your country may occasionally cause delays beyond our control. We’ll provide a tracking number once your order is shipped so you can follow its progress.
